Software Engineer

NextDrop is expanding and looking for passionate individuals to join our growing tech team. We are actively working to solve water supply issues in urban India. We have services for citizens to better interact with their utility and have more information regarding their water supply. We also build products for utilities, using their existing infrastructure and leveraging the power of web and mobile technology to create a lite smart grid. Interested?

Civil Engineer

Create models to achieve these metrics:
  • Complaints: Decrease complaints about low pressure and no water by 25%
  • Frequency: Equalize the frequency of distribution (aggregate) throughout a city
  • Duration: Equalize the duration of water (aggregate) throughout the city, making sure every part of the city gets water for long enough
  • Quantity: Ensure every citizen in the city gets enough drinking water
  • Timing: Minimize areas which receive water at night

Executive Assistant

Purpose: To streamline the flow of Executive Team processes

    • Go through all old meeting notes
    • Make agenda of all open items
    • Send out night before the meeting
    • During the meeting, help Executive Team make a decision on all open items, try to close as fast as possible
  • Objective observer between executive team and company
    • Current bottlenecks at our company
    • Suggestions on how to unblock and increase velocity of the company
